Osprey are seen all year in South Florida, although they are more easily found during the winter months. osprey are unique amongst our raptors in that they are just as easily spotted in residential areas as they are in the Everglades. Check the top of electric poles to see them looking down into nearby canals or lakes, or perhaps even eating a recent catch. They are not hard to find.
