There is almost zero chance of missing these birds during the winter months in South Florida. They migrate from Canada in extremely large numbers and occupy any space they can find, including residential and commercial areas (like grocery store parking lots). Parks and open natural areas are good places to find them as well. Their color patterns while in South Florida vary from quite dull to quite colorful. This is a photo of a rather colorful one.
